Host Guidelines

A few things to consider before applying to host the mobile screening unit:
  • There is no fee to host. We provide screenings for insured and uninsured individuals.
  • We primarily schedule screening events on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
  • Our unit is designed to provide a full day (6-8 hours) of comprehensive cancer screenings. Therefore, we cannot accommodate requests for only a few hours.
  • We require 15 pre-registered screening participants and prefer that participants register in advance. Walk-ins are usually not accepted.
  • We recommend that you designate a site coordinator as our main point of contact.
  • Host sites are responsible for publicizing the screening event 60-90 days prior to the date.

Site Requirements

To ensure the best experience for everyone, host sites must provide:

  • Waiting area for participants prior to screening (if needed)
  • Restroom available for participants being screened
  • Paved and level parking area that is:
    • 60 feet by 15 feet with a 14 foot height clearance
    • Accessible without having to make sharp turns in narrow areas
    • Has no low tree branches
  • Host sites must be located in Burlington, Camden, or Gloucester County, NJ

  • Clinical breast exams
  • Gynecologic exams – age 21 and up
  • Pap tests to detect cervical cancer – age 21 and up
