The Virtua Cardiac Team Gave Faith Reilly the Best Gift Ever — Her Life
This was one gift Faith Reilly never wanted. At 4 a.m. on Christmas morning in 2017, Faith had a heart attack. The 58-year-old nurse was transported to Virtua Marlton Hospital, where she was rushed into the cardiac catheterization lab.
Faith’s cholesterol had been borderline-high and she hadn’t had blood work done in several years. The good news was the heart attack didn’t damage Faith’s heart, but she is sure that if she had gotten her routine annual physical, her high-risk cholesterol numbers would have been picked up.
“Like many women, my life became very busy, and I didn’t take care of my own health,” said Faith.
