Young Mother Finds Support for Anxiety After Rare Cardiac Event
Susan Campbell, a 39-year-old mother of two small children from Haddon Township, NJ, simply didn’t feel right on the morning of September 29, 2017. As Susan describes:
“I felt an impending sense of doom…I thought about laying my head down on the table, but knew I would not wake up if I did.”
Susan called 911 and arrived by ambulance to Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. There, physicians diagnosed her with spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD), which had caused a blockage in her heart that resulted in a heart attack.
